Parking
Farm parking at 1701 Charlton Street. Main office parking at 365 Marie Ave West.
Gravel parking lots with no marked parking stalls.
 
Entrance
Located at 365 Marie Ave West. Two exterior steps, each 8 inches high. Ramp provided, with handrails on left and right. No automatic doors. Doors easily opened. Two entry doors, 35 inches wide, open in/out with a lever handle located 35 inches above the floor. No steps inside the entrance.
 
Public Restrooms
Located at the main office. Accessible without steps. Doors are 35 inches wide, open in. Turns are required to enter. No stalls. Grab bars are available. 19 inch toilet seat height. Sink height is 31 inches. Pipes under sink are not wrapped. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. Rest rooms identified by raised figures with pants or skirt on the door to designate men or women. Unisex or companion assisted rest rooms available.

Staff Training
Full time program staff have been trained to serve guests with mobility and hearing impairments. Type of training: Adult and child basic First Aid and CPR.
Wilderness Inquiry Accessibility Workshop. Two staff members have taken community education courses in ASL.
 
Types of Paths to or Around Park/Attraction
Mowed grass trails, woodchipped tails and gravel roads. Paths are not easily accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Steep grades may require assistance for persons in wheelchairs. There are 3.5 miles of trail.
 
Special Services

For guests with hearing impairments: Signing interpreters available with advance notice.

For guests with visual impairments: Signs in large print, with contrasting background, printed on a non-glossy surface.

Free open trails on Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Group and individual visitors include persons using wheelchairs, seniors, persons with hearing impairments, persons with visual impairments and persons with mental disabilities.
