An 80-acre site with visitor center, guides, 1.2 mile trail through tallgrass prarie. Over 2,000 rock carvings on Sioux quartzite rock.

Directions
Three miles east of U.S. Hwy 71 on Cottonwood County Road 10, then 1 mile south on County Road 2.
 
Parking
Two designated accessible parking spaces, located about 30 feet from the visitor center front door. Accessible parking space is 10 feet wide. Accessible aisle is 10 feet wide. Ramps are not needed. RV parking available.
 
Entrance
Located on the southwest side of the building. No exterior steps. Automatic doors. Doors easily opened. Two entry doors, 40 inches wide, open out with a grip bar handle located 30 inches above the floor. No steps inside the entrance.
 
Food and Beverage Facilities
Beverages are available.
 
Public Restrooms
Located to the right of the front door. Accessible without steps. Doors open in. Turns are required to enter. Wheelchair accessible stalls: 40 inch wide doors open out. Grab bars are available. 19 inch toilet seat height, 12 inches between the commode and the wall. Sink height is 34 inches. Pipes under sink are not wrapped. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. Rest rooms identified by raised figures with pants or skirt on the door to designate men or women.

Gift Shop
Aisles are 65 inches wide. Counters are 26 inches high. Aisles clear of temporary displays.
 
Types of Paths to or Around Park/Attraction
Crushed, packed gravel, rock and grass. Paths are accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Steep grades may require assistance for persons in wheelchairs. Length of paths: 1.2 mile. Crushed gravel from the visitor center to the end of the rock is about a half mile, then 200 yards on the rock face and the remainder is mowed grass.
 
Special Services
Special guide book for guests with disabilities.
For guests with hearing impairments: Amplified audio units. Tours in American Sign Language. Signing interpreters available with advance notice. Written scripts available.
For guests with visual impairments: Hands-on exhibits such as a dog travois with reproduction items from pre-contact American Indians. Signs in large print. Increased wattage lighting in public areas.
For guests with mobility impairments:
Written material to assist wheelchair guests to find fastest and easiest route to where they want to go in the facility.
