Description This facility is a restored country estate featuring original farm buildings dating back to the 1800's. The Hippodrome, Stable, Blacksmith Shop, H and G Barns have restored exterior and interiors upgraded to 36,000 square feet of conference/event space. All buildings are linked on the ground level. The facility is generally open at 7 a.m. but is not considered a tourist destination. The Heritage Center is rented to corporations, associations and individuals for training seminars, multiple day events and for social functions such as weddings and anniversary dinners. The exterior of each building has signage indicating the buildings original use. |

Accessible stalls: 31 inch wide doors opening in and handrails. 19 inch toilet seat height, and 10.5 inches between commode and wall. Clearance under the sink is 30 inches. Pipes under the sink are not wrapped. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. |

Staff Training ADA training for General Manager and Operations Manager. A video regarding Guest Service for Persons with Disabilities is presented to conference service staff and sales/administration staff and again as new staff arrive and/or new training products are available. |

Additional Information There is a complete catering kitchen on-site (no food may be brought into the facility) as well as an audio-visual department. A listing of public events and required entrance fees can be obtained by calling the Heritage Center directly at (763) 569-6300 or 800-524-0239. Also on-site is a small ten-room Inn, which is comprised of four buildings linked together. One of these rooms is equipped with features to assist persons with disabilities. All ground floor rooms can be accessed directly from the outside entrance and a ramp into the main living/dining room of the Inn. A minimum of eight of the ten rooms must be rented. |
