Description
This facility is a restored country estate featuring original farm buildings dating back to the 1800's. The Hippodrome, Stable, Blacksmith Shop, H and G Barns have restored exterior and interiors upgraded to 36,000 square feet of conference/event space. All buildings are linked on the ground level. The facility is generally open at 7 a.m. but is not considered a tourist destination. The Heritage Center is rented to corporations, associations and individuals for training seminars, multiple day events and for social functions such as weddings and anniversary dinners. The exterior of each building has signage indicating the buildings original use. |

Located on the east side of the property. Six designated accessible parking spaces. Parking space 11 feet wide. Accessible aisle 8 feet wide. Ramps are well marked. RV parking. |
Entrance
Located on the east side of the property. No exterior steps. Automatic doors. Doors easily opened. Entry doors 40 inches wide, open out with handle located 31 inches above the floor. Glass doors have handles clearly marked in contrasting color. No interior steps in the lobby. |
Meeting Rooms
No obstructions present which could block audience view. Accessible rest rooms nearby. Accessible phones nearby. FM loop assistive listening system for persons with hearing impairments. Podium is not wheelchair accessible. Ramp available to access stage or speakers platform. Table microphones. Lapel microphones. Furniture rearranged to maximize maneuvering room for persons with mobility impairments. Increased wattage lighting in meeting rooms. |
Elevator
Located on the east side. Serves all levels. Door width is 48 inches. Control buttons are 39 inches high. Elevator car interior is 65 inches by 96 inches. Buttons raised. Door stays open 7 seconds. Audible floor change signal. |
Public Restrooms
Located on the north and east sides of the property and on the lower level. Accessible without steps. Doors open out. Turns are required to enter. Accessible stalls: 31 inch wide doors opening in and handrails. 19 inch toilet seat height, and 10.5 inches between commode and wall. Clearance under the sink is 30 inches. Pipes under the sink are not wrapped. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. |

Staff Training
ADA training for General Manager and Operations Manager.
A video regarding Guest Service for Persons with Disabilities is presented to conference service staff and sales/administration staff and again as new staff arrive and/or new training products are available. |

Additional Information
There is a complete catering kitchen on-site (no food may be brought into the facility) as well as an audio-visual department.

Also on-site is a small ten-room Inn, which is comprised of four buildings linked together. One of these rooms is equipped with features to assist persons with disabilities. All ground floor rooms can be accessed directly from the outside entrance and a ramp into the main living/dining room of the Inn. A minimum of eight of the ten rooms must be rented. |
