Description Visitors observe plants and animals of woodlands and prairies within Camden State Park’s 2,237 acres. Here in the Redwood River valley, Native Americans and pioneers were supplied with food, shelter from the harsh prairie sun, free-flowing spring water and protection from winter gales. Brawner Lake provides opportunities for canoeing or fishing for bass and bluegill. |

Parking Two designated accessible parking spaces located at both the south picnic and beach areas, three designated accessible parking spaces located at the north picnic area. The parking surfaces are not painted to designate parking space width. |
Entrance No exterior steps. No automatic doors. One entry door, 35 inches wide, opens out with a handle 36 inches above the floor. No steps inside the lobby. Aisles are 30 inches wide. Counters are 41 inches high. Aisles clear of temporary displays. |
Public Restrooms Located at each of the two campgrounds, the group camp, the north picnic area and the beach. Accessible without steps. Turns must be made to enter. Some restrooms have accessible stalls with handrails. Roll-in shower available. |

Picnic Areas Three designated picnic areas do not have tables for guests in wheelchairs. The paths to and within the picnic areas are of mowed grass. Covered shelters are available. |
Description of Campsites Pull-through sites are available. There are 2 sites in the lower campground that are designated accessible with crushed gravel base. One has electic hook-up and one is non-electric. Both have accessible tables, fire rings, and concrete walkways to the Toilet/Shower Building. |
Types of Paths to or Around Park/Attraction Packed gravel. Paths are accessible to persons with mobility impairments. No steep grades requiring assistance for persons in wheelchairs. |
Special Services For guests with visual impairments: Some signs in Braille, printed with contrasting background color, printed on a non-glossy surface. |
Additional Information The fishing pier at Brawner Lake is accessible for wheelchairs with assistance. Brawner Lake offers fishing for pan fish, and canoes are for rent. A new office is being planned to provide easier access to services upon entry to the park. State law requires a valid vehicle permit for entry to State Parks which can be purchased at the park office.
